One more thing that might help those of us that have flashed
the latest BIOS to get Windows XP or other NT flavors running
correctly, you will always have to cold boot the laptop to
get X running correctly. If you ran Windows then just did
a warm boot (just clicking reboot on the shutdown options),
then boot into Linux, then the display will be very dark,
almost unreadable. I noticed that if you did a cold boot
(turn the power off, then on), it would display normal.
Everything worked fine with the original BIOS version
1.00.07a, but my X problems happend with both the 1.00.10a
and the 1.01.07a. Of course Windows XP only worked with the
the 1.01.07a, so I am going to have to just do the cold boot
until a real fix is found. Just thought that it might help
some that have read this page.

Thanks,

Tom
