You forgot to mention one thing in your document, It took me a LONG time to
figure this one out (from perusing the various posts to the linux-dell-laptops
yahoo group) if you have problems when installing linux (i.e. is craps out
when it gets to the point where it turns on your swap partition) install linux
using the ide=nodma option passed to the kernel, you can then reenable it after
you install linux :) it fixed my problem, and I hope it helps to fix a few more
people's problems
